1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Listen Buddie ("Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.
2. About the Service
Listen Buddie is a technology platform that connects users with trained, non-clinical listeners for voice-based emotional support conversations. Listen Buddie is NOT a therapy, counseling, medical, or emergency service. Listeners are not licensed mental health professionals.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use Listen Buddie. By creating an account, you represent that you meet this age requirement and that the information you provide is accurate and complete.
4. User Accounts
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
5. Listener Services
Listeners on Listen Buddie provide emotional support through active listening. They are NOT licensed therapists, psychologists, psychiatrists, or medical professionals. Their services should not be considered a substitute for professional mental health treatment.
6. Payments & Refunds
All payments are processed securely through Razorpay. Prices are displayed in Indian Rupees (₹) and include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. Refund policy: full refund for cancellations before session start; full refund if listener does not join; no refund for completed sessions. Refunds are processed within 3–5 business days.
7. Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to: (a) Harass, abuse, or threaten any user or listener; (b) Use the platform for any illegal purpose; (c) Impersonate any person or entity; (d) Share explicit, offensive, or harmful content; (e) Attempt to circumvent payment systems; (f) Spam or send unsolicited communications.
8. Intellectual Property
All content, trademarks, logos, and intellectual property on Listen Buddie are owned by Quantzi Technologies Pvt Ltd. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without prior written consent.
9. Privacy
Your use of Listen Buddie is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.
10. Limitation of Liability
Listen Buddie and its affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the platform. The platform is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Listen Buddie, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the platform or violation of these terms.
12. Modifications
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
13. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Chennai, Tamil Nadu.
